Should i but this salvaged title car?

It's the 1996 model, with a body kit, spoiler, and 92,000 miles. Its a salvaged title due to a minor accident in the front (didn't hurt the motor). Shes selling it for $4000 is it worth it. You don't get a salvage title because of a little nick. Some insurance company deemed the car too expensive to repair and junked it
You will never be able to sell it or at least not for more than salvage price.
For $4000 go buy a real car in reasonable shape.

I bought a salvage 96 Tahoe about 5 years ago. I've put 90,000 miles on it and it's still going strong. The insurance will not be higher. Should be a good deal.

4k sounds a bit steep for a totalled 96 model. And you can only insure it for liability, once it has a salvage title, so forget financing it. A financed vehicle must carry full coverage, which you can't get on it.

Maybe, maybe not.
Find out about accident history by ordering a Carfax report. Then take it to the mechanic or body shop and make sure ALL the repairs were done CORRECTLY. Only then is it a good buy.

to much money..mileage is right but still to much try 3,000
salvage title means the repairs exceed book value of the car
every salvage car that I have bought I've taken pictures ..before,during and after the repairs so the buyer can see exactly what he is buying…makes my job so much easyer trying to resell it and it makes the buyer feel so much better ….so if they dont have pictures walk away there hiding how hard it was really hit

That is too much for a 1996 with a salvage title. Don't pay that much for it. It is worth no more than 2k.

4000 is way too much for a 96 integra with a salvaged title i think 2500-3000 max is the price for the car.

1st thing to do is check on the insurance. here in FL the insurance for a rebuilt title cost me approx 50% MORE than if it had a regular title….
and i think that $4000 for a 96 integra is a bit high anyway…
